Investing in Your Business is Investing in Yourself
Have you ever made one of those investments in your business that totally scares the shit out of you? One of those that takes your breath away a bit and gives you butterflies as you think to yourself, “There’s no turning back now. Here we fucking go!”
Investing in your business can be scary, but instead of just thinking of it as a lot of time or money spent on your business, think of it as an investment in yourself.
Investing in yourself is 100% necessary in growing both personally and in your business.
I recently did something a little scary and invested a lot of money into a new mastermind coaching program. While I trust the coach, I know I’m going to learn so much, and I fully believe that this is the best choice for my business, it’s still scary!
It’s scary any time we take a big leap or step into the unknown, because it’s not just an investment in a program, course, mastermind, or whatever it may be. It’s an investment in YOURSELF. You’re betting on yourself to take everything you learn and pour it back into your business because you know that you can rise to the challenge. So yes, it may be scary at first, but that discomfort is necessary in order to reach the next level.
If you have that little feeling in the pit of your stomach that’s telling you to take the leap, you have to listen to it. The first step is the hardest, but you have to trust yourself and your intuition. Trust that you have what it takes to reach the next level and make that investment more than worth it.
If it scares the shit out of you, you are probably moving in the right direction.
